GTA Mature Moves - Specializing in Transitioning 55+ Homeowners
Are You Looking To Downsize To
"RIGHTSIZE"
We Offer Real Estate Services For All Boomers,
Zoomers And Seniors Needs!
You may have lived in your home for 20, 30 or even 50 years and the prospect of making a change may be overwhelming – you don’t even want to think about it! “Downsizing” can also mean moving to a smaller, less demanding living space. I like to call this “rightsizing”—finding the correct size of accommodation and the appropriate services for your stage of life.
ARE YOU FACING A MOVE AS A BOOMER OR SENIOR?
You will need a REALTOR with specialized training and experience. You will want to an Accredited Senior Agent educated and equipped in working with the senior demographic in today's society. An Accredited Senior Agent (ASA)TM is dedicated to working closely with seniors and their families to help them sell their house and transition into their next home.
We are in tune to the needs of our clients that can range from the basic real estate transaction to more complex issues , such as estate planning and wills, coordinating moving, staging your home, repairs, financial planning, housing options, tax planning etc.
WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ME?
There are more than 90,000 Realtors in Canada and less than 2% have earned the notable Accredited Senior Agent ( ASA)TM professional designation. I am grateful to be in this exclusive group.
As an Accredited Senior Agent I am not out to get your listing; I work as a consultant, side-by-side with you and your family and a network of exceptional specialists with one goal - to help you come to the best decision for you. If that decision is to stay in your present home, I am up-to-date on the government grants and loans that are in place to help you stay in your home and I will help you understand your options.
My role is never the same for any two clients. You have options and services to choose from and I can help you sort through them so you make the right move for you. I make the process easier for you by listening to your needs, working diligently to help you reach your goals, and connecting you with a network of exceptional specialists to make selling your home easier for you and your family.
IF LIFE IS PUSHING YOU IN
A NEW DIRECTION I CAN HELP.
One of the first questions I ask a new prospective client is:
“Do you WANT to move? Or do you feel you HAVE to move?”
I have a directory of public service providers, as well as a list of private agencies that can help you stay in your own home, through home modifications or support services. I will also explain different financing options which allows you to stay in your present home
( eg. arranging CHIP Reverse Mortgage)
If, when all is said and done, you decide it is time to make other living arrangements, we offer a package of services to handle the many details to be taken care of before bringing your house to the marketplace:
1
Prepare a summary of options available for your next home which may include:
- Condominium apartments
- Bungalows
- Rental Apartments
- Assisted Living Apartments
- Retirement Residences
- Long Term Care Facilities
2
Assist you in evaluating the options and deciding which is right for you. If you wish, I can arrange for you to visit places you may be interested in.
3
Coordinate the services of a professional transition manager who will help you sort through your possessions and decide what to keep, what to give away, and what to donate to charity. This is a highly personal process, so I recommend talking to several professionals to find the best fit for you.
4
If you have valuables that you would like to sell, we will arrange for an appraiser who specializes in the sale of home contents. Some transition managers are associated with an appraiser. Many have connections with consignment shops, which can often obtain a good return for your valuables.
5
Arrange an inspection of your home by a qualified home inspector to bring to light any necessary repairs that will enhance the sale-ability of your home.
6
Coordinate the hiring of trades people to make the repairs. If you decide to sell the home “as is” it is still a good idea to get two or three quotes for the work to show prospective buyers. The fewer “unknowns” a buyer has to deal with, the more likely they will feel confident in making an offer to purchase your home.
7
Help you with different financing option alternatives such as CHIP Reverse Mortgage.
